Hey, I’m Josh, the LED Technician at Evolve! I love building relationships with clients and ensuring all of our events never have a pixel out of place.
About Josh
Josh started at Evolve in 2010 as the warehouse manager. 4 years in, he left to learn LED. He spent 8 years mastering his craft.
During that time, he and our CEO, Robert Huskey golfed together. Josh regularly asked, “When are you going to hire me back?”
He received a job offer in 2022 and is now Evolve’s LED technician. His methodical approach and attention to detail makes him an asset at any event.
For Josh, events aren’t just about getting the job done, they’re an opportunity to build relationships. He considers himself successful when a client requests him again for their next event.
One of Josh’s favorite parts of Evolve is our exceptional quality control. He, and our clients know that when they use Evolve equipment they get panels and pixels that are as good as new.
When he’s not managing pixels for Evolve, you can find him hanging out with friends and family enjoying the pool, beach, lake, or golfing.
Fun fact: If he hits it in the woods, he’ll be there the entire hole.
Josh’s Day to Day
Josh helps our sales team with their LED quotes, takes conference calls for upcoming events, preps for his own shows, and builds out equipment.
At events, he’s in the mix with his team, building out vibrant displays, color correcting, and getting everything ready for rehearsal.
Once the LED features are in place, Josh becomes the “wall babysitter”. He finds somewhere out of the way and ensures the wall is running smoothly the entire event.
Josh is most interested in helping clients with unique builds that showcase new products for the first time, like curved LED walls, or a wall with set LED pieces.
His most memorable event was a video game competition with a diamond-shaped LED floor the first year. The next year, the event producers added walls with the diamond-shaped floor. It pushed the boundaries of where and how LED can interact with an event – and he was proud to be a part of it.
