For Evolve, attending ISE served dual purposes: gaining insights into cutting-edge technology and nurturing relationships with our European manufacturers and partners. As one of the premier industry gatherings, ISE has established itself as the go-to platform for unveiling new tech and trends, making it an invaluable experience for companies like ours.

Compared to previous years, the 2024 edition did not disappoint in terms of innovation and product showcases. Among the standout offerings were Barco’s QDX projector and Encore 3 switcher, promising advancements that are set to redefine visual experiences in various applications. Additionally, the dual 4K/8-channel FHD rack recorder by Atomos caught our attention, presenting a versatile solution for high-quality recording needs.

Fujifilm also had an intriguing projector featuring what can only be described as the weirdest lens we’ve ever seen. While unconventional in design, its performance and capabilities left a lasting impression, showcasing Fujifilm’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of lens technology.

Hive impressed with their demonstration of a decentralized multi-head playout system with mini and SDM servers hinting at the future of media delivery and content management.

Beyond the dazzling array of new equipment and technologies, ISE 2024 provided fertile ground for networking and collaboration. Meeting with our EU manufacturers and partners allowed us to deepen existing relationships and gain valuable insights into market trends and demands. There were many hours spent discussing the industry over food and fellowship and we are reminded how important in person meeting truly is.
