Account Manager, West Coast

Summary/Objective
This position will execute a sales strategy and maintain client relationships to increase sales in their assigned area and ensure our brand is “client satisfaction” and “high quality of service”. This role will require the initiative to contact existing and potential clients, identify needs, provide solutions, and follow through to close sales. This position will also be involved in developing strategic plans and managing project initiatives to ensure growth.

 

Essential Functions
Establish growth/new business and increase sales in respective accounts for the west coast.

  • Contact prospective customers to discover needs and establish a customer-supplier relationship.
  • Establish and maintain a client contact list.
  • Develop strong relationships with new and existing clients while offering top customer service.
  • Schedule and manage client shop visits.
  • Visit existing and potential clients on-site to include new client development.
  • Calculate and quote prices for rentals and services based on client requirements and project specifications.
  • Troubleshoot client issues and follow-up with clients to assure satisfaction.
  • Provide logistics support assistance for projects during peak times if needed.
  • Participate in Management Meetings and work closely with the President and VP of Operations as required.
  • Manage execution of marketing efforts on the west coast to include product demonstrations.
  • Conduct work activities in a manner that supports production, productivity, quality and customer service standards.

Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in the live events video production industry

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in sales or business development
  • Knowledge of professional video and projection systems

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Work week schedule is Monday through Friday and on call as needed.

 

Travel
